Designer and Developer
Frederick Brummer is a keeper of thieves. He is the Overmind.
Frederick is an interaction designer, web developer, musician, and maker. Since the beginning of his design career over 10 years ago, Frederick’s work has encompassed a variety of creative design. He recently built the “Drumtron 46,000″ an interactive electronic percussion exhibit – for Vancouver’s Science World, and is currently designing an open source architecture for energy efficient buildings. When he’s not working on sound installations or prototyping the future of sustainable living, Frederick can be found immersed in music and has been in a number of bands including Deseptagon, _yourself, and the ids.
Frederick’s design skills are broad as well as deep, and cover a number of disciplines from 2D graphic design to interactive media art, sound installation, and architectural system design. As a developer his expertise includes XHTML, CSS, Javascript and AJAX, and contemporary open-source CMSs like WordPress and Drupal.
