I have been experimenting lately with some Flash-based generative art pieces, created using simple coloured shapes. The forms are generated dynamically by code which is constantly moving each circle within a range surrounding its current co-ordinates. The results are fun and have provided a solid base for me to continue with these art / code experiments.
The idea of creating these circles stemmed from my portfolio site, I have been looking to re-invent the way the ‘organisms’ on my current site move about the screen. Some of you may ask why I would do such a thing? Especially after I spent nearly 6 months developing the concept and motion for the beautiful garbage ‘organisms’. Well the answer is simple, really: I love to experiment.
